About the game

Escape the Eye is a free online escape room designed to entertain you during your quarantaine. It can be played either together in real life (according to the measures of course) or together online where one person can share their screen. Escape the Eye is designed for 1-4 players and will take a maximum of one hour. The entire escape room will be online so you can keep quarantining but make it more fun.

The makers

We are three students from Eindhoven University of Technology who like to create things outside of our curriculum. With this online escape room, we wanted to give people an entertaining online activity to do while being in quarantine.

The story

The Eye, the biggest hacking company in the world, created a program which can hack into every existing device and will use all the gained data to create a super computer. This program will be able to control every device such as trains, cars and mobile phones. A group of hackers called 'CTRL+S the World' is trying to stop the Eye from doing this, but the two most important hackers of this group are kidnapped by the Eye to keep them from stopping the Eye. Please help the hackers of 'CTRL+S the World' to stop the Eye from launching their program!

How to play?

Escape the Eye can be played by everyone who likes escape rooms and solving puzzles, but it can be hard for kids to play alone. We recommend this escape room for everyone over the age of 12. The only thing that is needed to play is a laptop, but keeping a pen and some paper close is highly recommended.
